Boxing Crab
Lybia tessellata
These great little crab are tricky to find, but a wonderfully unique critter.
They are very small, full size about 4cm across, and hold two tiny anemones in their claws, which they sway back and forth, both to catch food and to warm off predators.
Always a favorite of photographers due to their boxing gloves (or pom poms depending on how you see it) and their bright red and white bodies and striped legs…
