This is a once-in-a-lifetime find. It is not known exactly what sort of Moray Eel this is a juvenile of, only that it is probably in the Gymnothorax species.
This one was about 30cm long, completely transparent and either curling itself into a spiral and floating along in the current, or undulating and searching for a nice uninhabited rock to live under.
Liberty, the guide who found it has been diving here in Lembeh for 15 years, and this was the first one he had ever seen. Another incredibly rare sighting from Lembeh.
