Bobtail Squid

These tiny squid (4cm long) remain completely buried in the sand during the day. They come out at night and sit on the surface. You can see how small there are as you can see the grains of sand around the Bobtail

If something comes along they then bury themselves in the sand, using two tentacles to whip material over the top of their bodies until they are once more completely buried.

Very funny to watch.
