I was very lucky this week to not only witness a Flamboyant Cuttlefish laying her eggs, but I also saw a Flamboyant Cuttlefish being born.

Flamboyant’s lay their eggs under coconut shells, where they slowly mature until they leave their egg sacks. Another amazing sight to see. It took me a long time to finally get the birth, as it’s all too easy to be looking at another egg when another hatches…
